Our friends at Ganja Gourmet brought this to our attention earlier this week...

BOYCOTT Weedmaps!!! We need your help in telling Weedmaps they screwed up by shutting down the free listing for businesses who decided not to use the paid listings and features. There are now too many competitors for Weedmaps to get away with this! If you have a true story to tell about Weedmaps screwing with you because you wouldn't pay their extortion fees, then please join our group and tell your story! Please join the Weedmaps BOYCOTT Group! The Ganja Gourmet - America's First MMJ Restaurant & Dispensary, though only one month old, had already received seven great reviews by MMJ Patients that used the Weedmaps Reviews. The first week of the year a representive called the Ganja Gourmet and spoke to the webmaster and informed him that Weedmaps was going to have a new program where you could get a better listing than the free listing and it was only $295.00 per month. The Ganja Gourmet webmaster informed the Weedmaps rep that $295 was way too high a monthly price and it would not be paid and the free listing would be fine. A little more than a week later, the Ganja Gourmet can not be found via the Weedmaps' search engine and their Ganja Gourmet page is now 404! This is nothing more than extortion and no one within the MMJ community should put up with this! How can anyone in the MMJ community believe a "review website" if that website is swaying the information by the money it recieves by its customers?
