Mile High NORML Statement on Rep. Massey Threat
We at Mile High NORML would like to express our disappointment at the counter-productive threat made against Rep. Tom Massey and his family. This despicable act is NOT the way Mile High NORML would like to see this debate conducted. Personal threats will not provide medicine for any patients or help people who do not understand the benefits of Medical Marijuana become any more enlightened. We respect Rep. Massey's opinion on medical marijuana. Even though we may disagree with him and his legislative actions in that regard, we certainly do not condone threats or violence of any kind. In fact those sorts of behaviors are exactly what we stand against. Our thoughts go out to Rep. Tom Massey and his family in this time. We wish only that they remain safe so that this debate may continue in an appropriate and fruitful manner.
